turf baby looking for a name!!! it a big one!!!

a view from above this is an angle that i love to take advantage of, mainly cause i like to climb stuff!! this is the junk yard view.

someone said that some of the stuff i have done in my yard reminds them of Andy Goldsworthy, however i know i have not made it to his level yet but one day...

a Living wall with a fish pond at the bottom, hiding a 350 gallon water tank that has a slow leak..

fun with runts..i always liked bananna flavor, with a crunch..

one day i will post some of the work i have done. here are some pictures of random stuff +++ Plus this post contains pics of My new Turf Baby an extra credit project from one of my classes.

Looking for organization? not here

I wish Godspeed & Traveling mercy on Jared and Delores as the make their way around Spain and possibly other parts of Europe. We the three of us made it out on one last paddling adventure here in Mississippi the day before they left. We put in just off of hwy 45 at the convergence of the Black Water creek and the Piwtiefaw creek, where paddled and limboed our way and in a few spots had to pull and drag ourselves down over logs and under trees in the creeks. It was a beautiful Tuesday morning in January with temps in the high 50's. We were able to experience a small piece of heaven on earth it seemed like that morning as we came around bend after bend of amazing natural beauty. There was a marked change in the attitude of the creek when we met up with the Sucarnoochee Creek with fast currents, sandstone outcroppings deeper pools, fewer log jams, and larger stream buffers along the sides. it was amazing to see a cut bank making its way into a farmers field around one bend then around the next where huge stands of river birch, sycamore, and musclewood with Sparkle berries in places we noticed red buds budding, banks full of moss, ferns, rivercane, beaver trimmed privet unfortunately there was a bunch of privet but the beavers did seem to enjoy chowing on it i don't think they will be able to keep it in check though. (sorry about the Runons i seem to like to do this often) We caught a glimpse of a beaver, we were greeted by some wood ducks, we chased a Great Blue Heron for a hop or two, we disturbed the digesting cycle for some turtles that dropped off of the logs as we passed and we confused to wild pigs as we floated past. i deeply enjoyed my time with J&D on this trip, and i am anticipating news from them while they make there way about the world. this pair amazes me as they both have a deep thirst for knowledge and love to experience nature and the world inspiring way.
Is a figment of your imagination really just a pigment in which you paint your own story with colorful imagery whether its just for yourself or the whole world to see? what pigment are your figments? happy? mellow? sad? nervous? excited? calm?
